Obituary of Christopher P. Hickey
Christopher P. Hickey 22, of Jessup, died Saturday, afternoon. Born in Scranton, he was the son of John Hickey and wife Heather, Jermyn and Kathleen Houlihan Hickey Brewster and husband James, with whom he resided in Jessup. A lifelong Jessup resident he was a member of St. James Church, Jessup and attended Valley View High School. He was employed as a roofing contractor. He was a very loving son and brother who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and always tried to make everyone laugh. He was also an avid Yankee, Notre Dame Football fan, and played Carbino Club Baseball and Bulldog football. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten by everyone who knew him. He is survived by four sisters; Kelly, Peckville, Megan, Jermyn, Katie, Archbald, and Shannon, and a brother, Patrick, at home, maternal grandmother, Veronica Houlihan, Olyphant, and a companion, Alexandria Ratay, Olyphant, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, James and Anna Hickey and a maternal grandfather, Patrick Houlihan. The funeral will be Wednesday from the Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home, 511 Church St., Jessup with mass at 9:30 Am in St. James Church, Jessup. Interment will be private. Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM.
