Obituary of Michael Rusyn
Michael Rusyn, Jr. September 9, 2007 no pic Michael Rusyn, Jr. of Olphant died Sunday morning at home. His wife of 52 years is the former Ann Tokash. Born in Olyphant he was the son of the late Michael and Lucy Klapatch Rusyn, Sr. He was a graduate of Olyphant High School and was a US Navy veteran. He was a Journeyman Pipefitter for Local 524. He was a member of SS Cyril and Methodius Ukranian Greek Catholic Church, Olyphant. He was a lifetime member and past Chief of Liberty Hose Company, he was also Republican Committeeman for many years.He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather who was dedicated to volunteering and would always come to the aid of others and instilled this trait to his children. His lifelong mission was to improve and make better the Liberty Hose Company. He will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Also surviving; four sons; Michael III, Peckville, Joseph, Olyphant, Ronald and wife Jadine, Olyphant, and Robert (Bob) and wife Luz, Justus, grandchildren; Michael and Karly Ann, and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Eileen. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1:00PM with a service at St. Cyril and Methodius Chapel. Interment, parish cemetery.
