Obituary of Ethel Hynak
Ethel Mary Kudrec Hynak, 96, of Jessup passed away on June 10th at
the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania.
She was the widow of Michael Hynak who died on July 26, 2000. The
couple was married for 54 years.
Born in Olyphant, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary
Churi Kudrec. She was a graduate of Jessup High School and helped her
husband run Schindeler's Bakery in Scranton. She was a member of the
First Presbyterian Church of Jessup.
Ethel was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-
grandmother who always had time for family.
She is survived by a son, Michael J. Hynak and wife Barbara, Arlington,
VA, grandson, Christopher M. Hynak and wife Charlene Salazar-Hynak,
and great-grandson Sebastian M. Hynak. She was preceded in death by
her brother, Dr. Donald Kudrec.
The funeral will be held Saturday from the Louis M. Margotta Funeral
Home, 511 Church St, Jessup with services by Pastor Lorrie Loughney
at 11:00. Interment will be at Dunmore Cemetery.
Friends may call Saturday morning from 9:00-11:00 at the funeral home.
