Obituary of Michael A. Bocan

Michael A. Bocan, 91, of Easton, formerly of Jessup, died on Thursday at Promedica Easton. HIs wife is the former Veronica Zelinski. The couple was married for 65 years Born in Jessup, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth Bocan. Mike attended Jessup High School and entered the U.S. Marine Corps to serve his Country during the Korean War. He was employed as a Butcher until his retirement. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed. Michael was very proud of being a Marine and his military service. Also surviving are his children; Thomas and wife Michelle, FL, Edward and wife Kerry, Throop, Paul and wife Donna, Springbrook Twp, Daniel and wife Michele, Tobyhanna; 13 grandchildren, Maura, Robert, Tyler, Morgan, Randy, Michael, Brittany, Edward Jr, Nicole, Ashley, Jennifer, Chris, and John; 5 great grandchildren, Ginny, Kit, Kennedy, Bryce, and Carly; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother John Bocan. The funeral will be on Saturday with a blessing service at Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home at 11am, celebrated by Father Jeff Tudgay.
