Obituary of Gerald Wentovich

Gerald “Jerry” Wentovich, 70, of Jessup died Monday morning at home after an illness. His wife is the former Frances Vojack Wentovich. The couple was married for 47 years. Born in Carbondale, he was the son of the late Paul and Marion Bilko Wentovich. Jerry graduated from Lakeland High School and Johnson Technical School. He was previously employed at Grumman Olson in Mayfield. Jerry was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Those closest to him will undoubtedly miss his quick wit and ability to summon laughter without hesitation, a gift he gladly shared with many. Jerry’s wife and family were his everything, and his grandchildren were his absolute pride and joy. Jerry’s heart was at its fullest when in their presence and his memory will live on through them forever. Also surviving are his children; Jerry Wentovich Jr and wife Beth, NY, Brian Wentovich, Jessup, and Jennifer Boccadori and husband Danny, Scott Twp.; his four grandchildren, Maya and Jace Wentovich and Ariella and Daniel Boccadori; a sister Fran Lezinski, Clarks Summit, a brother Paul Wentovich and wife Rosie, Mayfield; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral will be on Saturday with mass of Christian burial at 10 am at Queen of Angels Parish, Jessup. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Blakely.
