Obituary of Ida Anelli

Ida Anelli, 86 of Peckville, passed away Sunday morning at Moses-Taylor Hospital after an illness. She was the widow of Lino Anelli who died October 19, 2012. The couple was married for 58 years. Born in Gubbio, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Olga Simoncelli Vispi. She came to this country in 1963 and happily raised her wonderful family in Peckville. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Peckville. She was happiest when her family was near and enjoyed the company of many friends whom she always invited to taste her homemade Italian dishes. She was a selfless person who worried about others and never about herself. She is survived by two sons Frank and wife Patricia , Olyphant and John of Peckville, a brother Enzo Vispi in Gubbio Italy and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Wednesday with a blessing service at the James M. Margotta Funeral Home, 1019 Main St. Peckville. Interment, St. John's cemetery, Jessup.
