Obituary of Margaret R. Gaglio

Margaret “Peggy” Gaglio 68 of Olyphant passed away Sunday at Post Acute Medical Specialty in Wilkes Barre after a short illness. Her husband of 43 years is Stephen Gaglio. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Lorraine Ingoldsby Keegan. She was a graduate of Olyphant high school & was employed at Specialty Records, Gerritys market, and retired from the dietary department from the Gino Merli Center. A lifelong resident of Olyphant, she was a member of Holy Cross parish, also was a 35 year member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Raymond Henry American Legion, Post 327. Also surviving are two sons, Jerry Gaglio and wife Val, Olyphant and Stephen Gaglio, Scranton, two daughters, Lori Smith and husband Chris, Peckville and Mary Lynn Gaglio, Throop a sister, Kathy Radzelovage and husband Mike, Peckville, sister in law Linda Keegan, Olyphant, grandchildren, Sierra Gaglio, Matt, Zach and Addison Smith, Cayden Dickens, Jesse McDermott, nieces & nephews & her beloved dog Ziva. She was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Keegan and infant grand daughter Shealyn Gaglio. Peggy was a kind, fun loving person who enjoyed hanging out with her sister & friends at the legion & was always up for a game of shuffleboard . She loved her family & friends very much & her grandchildren were the light of her life. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. There will be no calling hours. A private memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the mMargotta Funeral Home
