Obituary of William George Coles

William "Billy" Coles, 37, of Carbondale, PA passed away on November 24, 2021, in Philadelphia, PA. William is survived by his wife of 10 years, Angela Bohnke Coles, and their children - Gabriella "Jasper", Lyrik, and Penelope of Sansdon, VA and a child Luciana of Jefferson Township, PA; Parents Sandra Giombolini Richards and Roy Richards Jr. of Carbondale, PA; Brothers; Seth Coles and Fiancé, Caitlin of Carbondale, PA, Christopher and Elena (nee Cerda) Durmiaki of Jessup, PA. Mother-in-Law Karen Bohnke of Sansdon, Va; Brother-in-Law Steve Bohnke and family of Windsor, CO; along with many Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins. Billy was preceded in death by his Grandparents and Great-grandparents. Billy was a husband, loving father, brother, son, and friend to many. Some of his children's favorite memories with him were traveling across the country, and hiking as a family while living in Colorado. He loved surprising the kids with family fun days that would end with Go-Kart racing. He never let a bad day get in the way of spending time with his children. They will miss all of the fun times, especially his great big "Bear-hugs". Billy was a great chef and enjoyed cooking for his family. He loved to test new and unique recipes for everyone to try, especially his curried meatloaf. He could always make you laugh and knew exactly what to say when you were sad. Billy was a die-hard San Francisco 49er's fan. He enjoyed sports and the great outdoors; his favorite outdoor activity was hiking. He enjoyed visiting historical locations throughout the country. He liked music and attending concerts, paintball, and laser tag. Billy was a sponsored game player for gaming competitions throughout the U.S. He will always be loved and never be forgotten. The funeral will be on Friday at 9:30am at St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Jessup. Viewing hours will be on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm at the Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home, 511 Church St., Jessup. Memorial contributions may be made to Marworth Alcohol and Chemical Dependency Treatment Center, 12 Lily Lake Rd. Waverly, PA 18471 or to the charity of your choice.
