Obituary of Brandon M. Calvey
Brandon "Bcal" M. Calvey, 28, of Blakely passed away Thursday at home, unexpectedly.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of Erin Roman of Jermyn and John J. Calvey and companion Dawn Telesha, of Clarks Summit.
He was a graduate of Valley View High School and Johnson College where he received a degree in customized welding and also a special paint and automotive finish certification. He was employed as an auto mechanic and high tech sprayer at J & F Collision in Jessup, Archbald Auto and Orr Industries. He resided in Blakely for most of his life.
Brandon was an extreme car enthusiast dedicated to bringing his Nissan 240sx a new life, a master painter of all things paintable, he dearly loved his pets Pepsi and Subi, named after the original Subaru, "50 centers", 2k all day, and papa's cooking. His laughter and humor brought joy to all that knew him and lived life on his own terms.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his maternal grandfather, Frank Roman, Sr, and his paternal grandmother, Sharon Sanko all of Blakely, and uncle Frank Roman Jr. and wife Julie, Blakely and aunt Kimberlee Brink, and an uncle Corey Sanko, all of Blakely, and his sisters, Cadee, Madelyn and Emma Calvey, Pittston. He is deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
