Helen Wilkes Visneski dies at 100 June 29, 2021 Helen Wilkes Visneski, 100, of Peckville, died Tuesday morning at Mid Valley Manor, Peckville. Born in Sturges, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna Grezik Wilkes. Helen was a graduate of Archbald High School and was a member of St. Adalbert’s Church, Dickson City. She was an excellent cook and loved to bake. She also enjoyed charity work for St. Adalbert’s Church. She will be missed by all and she will remain forever in our hearts. She is survived by her grandson, Richard Visneski Jr.; a granddaughter, Ranielle Fluck and good friend, Fred Blitz; a daughter-in-law, MaryAnn Visneski; her great-grandchildren, Bryana and husband, Daniel; Shane and Grace; and great-great-granddaughter, Lacey Helena; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Visneski; and her son, Richard Visneski Sr. The funeral will be Friday with a service at 10 a.m. at the Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home, 511 Church St., Jessup, celebrated by Pastor Ron Miller. Entombment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
