Obituary of Garret Yagelski

Garret Yagelski, 26, of Jessup passed away Saturday, April 10th. Born in Scranton, PA, he was the son Gary and Kimberly Fagnani-Yagelski, Jessup. He was a graduate of Valley View High School, class of 2013, and Temple University, class of 2017. He receive his B.S. degree in Marketing. He was a former member of St. Mary's Assumption Church, Jessup. Garret was employed as a sales representative for RJ Reynolds Company. Garret had an infectious smile that warmed everyone's heart. His smile was biggest when he was watching movies, listening to music, snowboarding with friends and family, and wakeboarding at Lake Winola. He was happiest doing absolutely anything with the love of his life, Ashton Boyarsky. Garret's family would like to thank all of his friends, near and far, for their love and support during this difficult time. Also surviving are his brother, Ryan Yagelski and fiance, Jordan Aebli, Dunmore, his girlfriend, Ashton Boyarsky, Scott Twp., his paternal grandmother, Joan Remick-Yagelski, Dickson City, his maternal grandfather, Jerry Fagnani, Jessup, several aunts, uncles, and cousins all of whom he loved dearly, especially his Auntie Ada (Dida) and Uncle Mickey. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Elaine Rosetti-Fagnani, his paternal grandfather, Ronald Yagelski, and his godmother Cindy Yagelski-Halloran. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday April 17th at 10 am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, Peckville, PA. In leiu of flowers, memorial contrbutions may be made in Garret's name to St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen, 500 Penn Ave. Scranton, PA 18503.
