Obituary of Lawrence M. Vispi

Lawrence "Larry" Vispi, 60 of Jessup, died Christmas morning after a brief illness. His wife of 40 years is the former Judy Guarina. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Donald and Madeline Perechinsky Vispi. He was a graduate of Valley View High School, Class of 1978 and attended Keystone Junior College. He was employed at Jaunty Manufacturing and Home Depot and was owner and operator of Vispi's Dead Shot Archery, in Jessup. He was a former member of St. Michael's Church, Queen of Angels Parish. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Also surviving are a daughter, Theodora "Thea" Snyder and husband Sherman, and a son, Lawrence Matthew Vispi, all of Jessup, a brother, Michael and wife Jeannie, Mayfield, a sister, Donna McDermott and husband, Patrick, State College, grandchildren, Brady and Mason James Snyder. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mia Jude Snyder and and a sister, Cheryl Vislosky. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 Am with mass at Queen of Angels Parish, St. Michael's Church. Anyone attending the mass will be subject to all CDC guidelines. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home.
