Obituary of Mildred DiPasquale

Millie DiPasquale, 92 of Peckville, died Friday, September 28th  at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore, after an illness. She was the widow of Gerald J. DiPasquale who died April 5, 2005. The couple was married for 60 years at the time of his death.

Born in Grenora, N. Dakota, she was the daughter of the late John and Thelma Svenson Egge. She attended school in North Dakota and was employed locally in the Garment industry and was a 40 year  member of the ILGWU.  She resided in Peckville for most of her life and was a member of St. Stephens Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dickson CIty.

She enjoyed life to the fullest. Her days were filled with trips to the casino, playing bingo, seeing friends, making delicious Italian meals and getting pampered.She loved spending time with her children , grandchildren and great grandchildren and they loved seeing and spending time with their Nanny. She will be truly missed byall who loved her.

Surviving are a son Jerry, at home, two daughters, Beverly Witkowski and husband George, Blakely and Jackie Danchak and husband Jack, Scott Twp., brother, Richard Egge, Othello, Washington; five grandchildren, Tracy, Jill, Heather, Stephanie and Jaclyn, seven great grandchildren with another on the way, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

The funeral will be held Thursday October 11 from the James M. Margotta Funeral Home, 1019 Main St. , Peckville with a blessing service at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment St. Mary's Assumption Cemetery, Montdale. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9am  to time of service. For online condolences visit, ""
