Lillian L. Sorcinelli, 82 of Eynon, passed away Sunday morning peacefully at home surrounded by her children. She was the widow of Alvaro "Spider" Sorcinelli who died January 21, 1989. The couple was married for over 25 years. Born in Eynon, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Mizerak Lemoncelli. She was a graduate of Archbald High School and was employed in the local Garment Industry. She resided in Eynon for the past 17 years. She was a member of Queen of Angels Parish in Jessup and a former member of Our Lady of Vilna Church in Eynon. She is survived by two daughters, Maria Staback and husband Ed Jr., Sturges and Angela Sebastianelli and husband Ernie, Union Dale, a son John and partner Lisa Bolton, Peckville, grandchildren, Ryan Staback and wife Gina, Nicholas Staback and Sebastian Sorcinelli, and a great granddaughter Natalia Staback, brother, Edmund, Ohio, two sisters; Rita Caldara, Eynon and Carol Volpi and husband Fred, Factoryville, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant sister Mary. The Sorcinelli family would like to thank the VNA Hospice Home Health nurses and aids. The funeral will be Thursday from the Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home, 511 Church St. Jessup , with mass at 10 AM at St. Michael's church, Jessup, Queen of Angels Parish. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Carbondale.
