Patricia Ligi Parlanti, 79, of Dalton, formerly of Jessup passed away Saturday evening at home. Her husband is Robert Parlanti. The couple were married for 56 years. Born in Jessup she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Florence Rossi Ligi. She was a graduate of Jessup High School, class of 59 and Scranton State Hospital School of Nursing, class of 62. She was employed as a Registered Nurse by Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York, Scranton State Hospital, and Clarks Summit State Hospital totaling a 59-year career. After residing in Olyphant for 21 years, she spent the last 33 years in Dalton. She was a former member of St. Mary's Assumption Church, Jessup now known as Queen of Angels Parish. She was a loving and kind wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her friends and family very much. Patricia, also known as Mama Pat to her patients, enjoyed shopping, going to casinos, and lunches with her friends Also surviving are two sons, Robert Jr. and wife Kathleen, N. Abington Twp., and Richard and wife Diane, Dalton. Grandchildren, Alanna Liples and husband Joshua, Kellye Klotz, Brett Sullivan and wife Candace; great grandchildren, Leilani, Negan, Finley, Nolan, Elias and Delilah, Benson and Emmett, a brother, Anthony Ligi and wife Diane, New Orleans, and many nieces and nephews.
