Nicola Ciambriello, 85, of Peckville, died Thursday evening at home. His wife was the former Rachel Canuso who passed away in 2000. The couple was married for 40 years.
Born in Dragoni, Italy, he was the son of the late Antonio and Antoinette Conti Ciambriello.
Nick was a longtime resident of Peckville and of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish. He was a Master Tailor and was employed by Samter’s and J.C. Penny’s for many years prior to his retirement.

Surviving are a daughter, Rose Marie Rogari, Philadelphia and husband Thomas; a son Tony Ciambriello and wife Barb, Greenfield Twp.; grandchildren, Mia and Gianna Rogari, Nico and Gino Ciambriello; a brother Antonio and wife Lina, Dragoni, two sisters Pina Santoro and husband Claudio, Milan and Adele Settembre and husband Gennaro, Ischia.
He was preceded in death by a brother Giacomo and two sisters, Maria and Italia.
The funeral will be on Monday with mass of Christian burial at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, Peckville. Interment will follow at a later date.
