Antoinette M. Vojack, 90, of Olyphant, died Saturday afternoon at Lackawanna Health Care Center with her family by her side. Her husband, Walter “Pop” Vojack, passed away in March of 2005. The couple was married for 51 years.
Born in Olyphant, she was the daughter of the late Rosario and Frances Longo Gaglio. She was a graduate of Olyphant High School and was employed at Baumels Dress Factory and retired from Community Medical Center Housekeeping Department.
She was a wonderful woman who used her heart generously to provide love and support to many, a true testament to her selfless soul. She was always there with open arms to anyone in need. She adored her family and shined her brightest when surrounded by those she cared about. She was a kind and loving wife, mother, sister, grand and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Surviving are two daughters, Frances Wentovich and husband Jerry, Jessup and Roseann Burns and husband Jerry, S.C.; a son Walter Vojack and wife Sherri, Archbald; two brothers Steve Gaglio and wife Peggy, Olyphant and Carmen Gaglio, Syracuse; grandchildren, Jerry Wentovich and wife Beth, Brian Wentovich, Jennifer Boccadori and husband Danny, Bridget and Bryan Burns, Aleah and Aaron Vojack; great grandchildren Maya and Jace Wentovich, Ariella and Daniel Boccadori, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Daniel Gaglio.
The funeral will be on Friday with mass of Christian burial at 9:30 am at Holy Cross Parish, St. Patrick’s Church, Olyphant. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. Viewing hours will be held on Thursday at the James M. Margotta Funeral Home, 1019 Main St.
