Obituary of Michael Dancho
Michael J. Dancho, 56, of Hawley died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in Peckville, he was the son of the late Albert and Eva Pochasky Dancho.
He was a graduate of Valley View High School, class of 1979 and Johnson College. He was employed at Hendrick Manufacturing for 18 years as a Tool and Die manager prior to his retirement.
Michael enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. His family was everything, his entire life was dedicated to taking care of his mother and father. He also held his career in high regard.
Surviving are two sisters, Kathy Purdy and husband Dean, Dalton and Christine Coyle and husband Tom, Mt. Cobb; nieces Sara Galea and companion Jerry Charles, Peckville, Colleen Bowman, Archbald; nephews, Tony Galea and partner James Faux, Danville, Michael Coyle and husband Kevin Breen, VA, and Tommy Coyle, SC.
The funeral will be on Monday with mass of Christian burial at 9:30 at St. Michael’s Church, Queen of Angels Parish. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 7 pm at the James M. Margotta Funeral Home, 1019 Main St. Peckville. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
