Obituary of Margaret Mack

Margaret Mack, 97 of Phillipsburg, formerly of Sturges died Monday at The Phillipsburg Center, in Phillipsburg, NJ after an illness.

She was born in Sturges, Pa and raised in Peckville; daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Novajosky.  She was a 1939 graduate of Blakely High School and a 1940 graduate of the former Powell School of Business.

She left Peckville in 1945 when she married Stanley Mack, who died in 1978.  She lived in Maple Glen, Pa, a suburb of Philadelphia, for 36 years.  She was employed as a Legal Assistant in the Eastern Headquarters Department of Manufactures Hanover Financial Services, which is now J.P. Morgan Chase, with headquarters in New York City.  She reitred in 1986 and returned to the Peckville - Blakely area in 2001.

She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Peckville.  While living in the Philadelphia area, she was a member of St. Alphansus Chruch in Maple Glen for 36 years.

She is survived by a brother James"Hoppe" Novajosky, Peckville, and a sister, Elizabeth Tarletsky (Costy Tarletsky), Mt. Cobb.  Several dearly beloved nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

She was preceeded in death by six brothers Stephen, Jr., Cyril, Joseph, Paul, Richard, Frank, and a sister, Mary Novajosky Kura.

The funeral will be Saturday with mass at 9:30am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Peckville. Interment Holy Ghost cemetery, Blakely.
