Julia C. Buchinski Drutarsoky, of Yardley, formerly of Jessup, died peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, a month shy of her 103rd birthday. She was the wife of Michael Drutarosky, who died May 13, 1988. They celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Born in Mayfield, she was the daughter of the late Matin and Mary Stopa Buchinski. She attended Mayfield School. Before her retirement, she was employed by Leslie Fay Sportswear, Jessup, Pa., and International Ladies Garment, Scranton, Pa.
She resided in Jessup for more than 60 years and was a member of Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church, Jessup.
She was truly loved and will be missed by all.
Surviving are two daughters, Lorriaine L. Worth and husband, William, Yardley; and Rita A. Noury and husband, Elias, Glenmore, Pa.; a sister, Janet Nolan, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary and Eleanor; three brothers, John, Joseph and George Buchinski; five sisters, Francis and Regina Buchinski, Elizabeth Drutarosky, Victoria Mizerak and Anna Geleck.
The funeral will be on Monday with Divine Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church, Jessup. Interment will follow at the Parish Cemetery. A celebration of her life including viewing hours on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home, 511 Church St., Jessup.
