Frank J. Osborne 83, of Eynon, died Saturday, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, after a brief illness.
His wife of 59 years is the former Ann Marie Rushen.
Born in Carbondale, he was the son of the late John and Mary Glinsky Osborne. He lived in Archbald for most of his life after moving from Carbondale. He was a graduate of Carbondale High School and was a US Navy veteran during the Korean War. He was employed as a technician for the former RCA / Thompson Electronics Corporation, until his retirement. He was a member of Christ the King Parish in Archbald.
Also surviving are three sons; Larry and wife Ann, Washington Twp., NJ, Jimmy, Archbald, and Frank Jr., and wife Jenn, Crystal Lake, grandchildren, Lauren and Michael, a brother, Jack Osborne and wife Patricia, Waymart, two sisters, Irene Vauter, Clarks Summit and Barbara Norton and husband Sean, Wilmington, NC, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Osborne and a sister, Jane Sleboda.
The funeral will be Thursday from the James M. Margotta Funeral Home, 1019 Main St. Peckville with mass at 9:30 at St. Mary's of Czestochowa Church, Eynon. Entombment, Our Mother Of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM.
