Kathleen “Kathy” Kondash, 37, of Archbald, died on her family property in La Plume Township. Her husband of sixteen years is Jeff Kondash.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Michael and Rosemary Lardner. Kathy was a graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School, class of 1999, and attended Harrisburg Area Community College and Immaculata University. She was also a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Peckville. Kathy and her family loved spending time enjoying outdoor activities on her family’s wooded wildlife sanctuary. She was a dedicated and superb mother and wife. Her family was the central part of her life. She was a great soccer and baseball mom to her two children, never missing an event. She was passionate about the care of the family dogs, Coda and Clifford even though one has a time demanding disability. Also surviving are her daughter, Jacey and her son Jeffrey Kondash, both at home; a brother J. David Lardner of Herndon, Virginia; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by one of her favorite uncles The Reverend Gerald V. Lardner PSS.
The funeral will be on Saturday with a mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Peckville. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service from 8:30 am to 9:30 am, at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 1101 Willow Ave. Peckville, PA 18452. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
