Claire Cipriani, 89 of Peckville, died Wednesday evening at the Mid Valley Health Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Evo Cipriani, who died February 5, 2017.
Born in Peckville, she was the beloved daughter of the late Julio and Helen Esolen Collarini. Claire attended Blakely schools and was employed as a nurse’s aide for many years at the Mid Valley Long Term Center. She was a devoted member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Peckville.
She was a kind and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be dearly missed especially by her great nieces, nephews, family and friends. She loved watching, Days of Our Lives and Judge Judy.
Surviving are a son, Gene Zebrowski and wife Diane, Philadelphia, grandchildren, Janine Botek and husband Paul, two great grandsons Ryan and mark Botek, grandson, Lucas Zebroski, stepson, Gerard Cipriani and wife Louise, grandchildren, Jimmy, Justin, Christian and Jared, and a stepdaughter, Judy Cipriani and granddaughter, Isabella, and a brother Gino and wife Mildred, Peckville. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Richard, Ronald, Paul and Robert Collarini and one sister, Stella Straka.
The family would like to thank Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore for all the help they gave to Claire over the past year. Also a special thank you to the amazing staff at the Mid Valley Health care Center.
The funeral will be held Wednesday with mass at 10 am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Interment, Union Cemetery, Peckville. No public calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ; St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
